QWERTY
The QWERTY keyboard was created in the 1870s to solve a frustrating problem—early typewriters kept jamming keys when people typed too fast. Originally, the keys were arranged alphabetically, but this caused frequently used letter pairs to get stuck. The solution? Rearranging the layout to space out common letter pairs, reducing jams and keeping things running smoothly.
