History
Dictators in Vienna
In 1913, Vienna was home to four future 20th-century leaders at the same time: Adolf Hitler, Leon Trotsky, Joseph Stalin, and Josip Broz Tito.
At the time none were famous — Hitler was a struggling artist, Trotsky a journalist in exile, Stalin visiting for revolutionary meetings, and Tito a young worker. Yet within decades, all would become major figures shaping Europe’s political history.

Regenerating Bones!?
Your bones aren’t as solid and unchanging as they seem—they’re constantly regenerating. Through a process called bone remodelling, old bone is broken down by osteoclasts, while osteoblasts build new bone in its place. This cycle keeps your skeleton strong and adapts to stress, with your entire skeleton being almost completely replaced every 10 years.

Wikipedia Bots
Wikipedia bots are automated programs that help maintain and improve articles across Wikipedia. These bots perform repetitive tasks much faster than humans, such as fixing spelling and formatting errors, reverting vandalism, updating links, and adding citations.
They are created and monitored by volunteers, and must be approved by the community before operating widely. Today, thousands of approved bots quietly work behind the scenes to keep Wikipedia accurate, organised, and up to date.

Opening Line
One of the most recognisable opening lines in literature begins: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” The line comes from A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
The novel is set during the French Revolution and explores the chaos, inequality, and hope of the era. Dickens’ opening perfectly captures the contradictions of the time — a world experiencing both great progress and deep turmoil.
Entertainment
Dido
In the early 2000s, Dido became one of the most recognisable voices in pop music. Her debut album No Angel produced major hits like Thank You and White Flag, and went on to sell millions of copies worldwide.
Her voice also reached an even wider audience when Eminem sampled Thank You in his hit song Stan, helping cement Dido as one of the defining artists of the era.
